What is Parelli?
Our goal at Parelli Natural Horsemanship is to help raise the level of horsemanship worldwide for the benefit of horses and the people who love them.
The Parelli Program is a people-training program focused on the study of horse behavior and horsemanship skills. The program spans Four Savvys, or areas of development, through four distinct levels of skill improvement.
We believe in putting the relationship first, never-ending self-improvement and foundation before specialization, and these beliefs fuel our commitment to helping horse lovers worldwide excel in a life-long pursuit of horsemanship.
The Parelli program encourages students to develop creative puzzle-solving skills and to think in a lateral manner, while taking the non-verbal feedback and individual Horsenality™ of their horse into consideration. The Horsenality™ system helps students identify a horse's innate character or personality type. Students can then create rapport and achieve great results by knowing what's uniquely important to that individual horse. This approach to understanding horse behavior helps horses -- and their owners -- become more balanced, centered and confident.
