As a Licensed Parelli Professional, Juli teaches people to understand horse behavior and to train their own horses.   In the Parelli Program, learning how horses think and knowing how to communicate with them through the language of the Seven Games, is where everything starts. You’ll learn how to control horses more naturally, how to stay safe, how to help horses understand humans and how to teach them anything you want them to learn. 

​Our program builds from groundwork on varying lengths of rope to playing at liberty (no strings attached!) and of course under saddle as well, where we apply the 7 Games while riding.  Beginning with the fundamental techniques that will ensure that your horse is confident and responsive under saddle, the Parelli Program develops your skills as a rider and guider and your horse’s skills as a partner through yielding systems, positive patterns, and impulsion exercises, culminating in a foundation for performance and the ability to excel in a variety of endeavors from bridle-less riding to riding with precision and contact. 

In simple terms, the Parelli Program has 4 Levels and 4 Savvys, or areas of study:
  1. On Line (on the ground using a halter and ropes)
  2. Liberty (on the ground, no halter or ropes)
  3. Freestyle (riding foundation skills, yielding and impulsion exercises)
  4. Finesse (riding with precision and contact). 

You will start at Level 1, building a language with the 7 games and then allow the journey to take you as far as your want to go – whether your goal is trail riding, young horse development, competition and performance or learning to be the best you can be and enjoying your horse to the fullest.   
Lessons
When she’s not on the road, Juli teaches year-round in Southeastern Arizona and is available for private, semi-private, and group lessons as well as clinics and events.  Lessons can take place at Heritage Run Horsemanship or at your own facility (travel fees and a minimum number of hours may apply).
